DaVinci Resolve Studio and Fusion Studio 16.2.1
Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Studio and Fusion Studio have both been updated to version 16.2.1. To point out, these are free updates to license holders of version 16.
DaVinci Resolve Studio 16.2.1 Update
This is just a small dot update but it brings some great new features, including:
– New support for H.265 4:4:4 12-bit files when using NVIDIA GPUs. This allows for encoding of 32-bit float audio in QuickTime clips, supports trimming QuickTime audio clips when managing media, and adds support for double-clicking to open DRP files on Windows and Linux.
– Improved decode support for 10-bit H.265 4:4:4
– Improved performance with ProRes, DNxHR, and OpenEXR on high-end CPUs.
– DolbyVision analysis improvements
– More reliable systems with Intel graphics
– General improvements for decoding camera clips with AAC audio, HDR tone mapping, transition performance and more.
Fusion Studio 16.2.1 Update
Fusion Studio’s 16.2.1 update has a number of improvements and changes including:
– Improved reliability of OCIO (Open Color IO) tools when processing canvas color.
– Improvements to the paint color picker
– Improved DeltaKeyer reliability when using solid mattes, masking and more.
– Adds better support for fonts on Macs when using Fusion’s text tools
– Improved scripting and plug-in reliability on Macs running Mojave.
